Status: Design Proposal

Envisioned as a seamless extension of the landscape, the Langevåg Gondol top station integrates with its natural surroundings, offering extensions to the terrain, which provide wind protection and allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the panoramic views.

Serving as a destination restaurant, amphitheater, and public space, the gondola top station is designed to enhance the unique landscape experiences of Langevåg.

The top station ties in with a broader network of projects throughout the town of Langevåg, creating accessible vantage points throughout the town.

As part of a small team in Oslo, I developed the initial concept, massing, positioning, and spatial configuration for the Langevåg Gondol Top Station.

I was engaged in testing various design configurations, aiming to maximise the building’s utilisation and add value beyond the briefed requirements.

I modeled, visualised, sketched, and documented work that contributed to the design proposal. Additionally, I helped coordinate external visualisation for a video prepared for key stakeholders and the client group.
